Pokeball Repair

For years, Pyrrhus has tinkered with broken and discarded Pokeballs, and learned how exactly they work. Combined with the array of spare parts he has accumulated, he is sufficiently skilled to repair a number of used or broken Pokeballs per day equal to half his Smarts stat.

Pokeball Designer

Pyrrhus's extensive knowledge of the inner workings of Pokeballs has granted him sufficient skill to assemble them wholly from their constituent parts and disassemble them again. Anywhere that Pyrrhus can find Pokeballs, he may purchase Replacement Parts for the same cost. He can then use Replacement Parts to construct basic Pokeballs, Great Balls, and Ultra Balls for one, two, and four packages of Replacement Parts, respectively. He may also disassemble any Pokeball for its selling price in Replacement Parts. It takes one minute to assemble or disassemble a Pokeball with this feature. Furthermore, because of his intimate knowledge of Pokeball mechanics and the fact that they are hand-made rather than mass produced, any Pokeball Pyrrhus makes will have a bonus to its catch rate equal to half of Pyrrhus's Smarts stat.

Capture Point

Pyrrhus is more skilled than most at hitting the mark with his Pokeball throws. He's got the technique worked down to a science. When he throws any Pokeball, he adds half his Composure stat to the target's Capture Rate.

Capture Point +

Requires: Capture Point

Pyrrhus has mastered the art of capturing Pokemon. When it comes to chucking Pokeballs, nobody can match his skill. When he throws any Pokeball, he adds his Composure stat to the target's Capture Rate.

Loyalty Gauge

Pyrrhus knows that members of Team Rocket needn't be wearing their uniforms to still be dangerous or hurt Pokemon. He's begun training himself to look for the warning signs that a Pokemon is being used to commit crimes or is obedient to a trainer out of fear. By looking at a Pokemon and observing its behavior, he can determine that Pokemon's loyalty.

Hacker

A natural with computers, Pyrrhus knows common backdoors and various means to accessing even the more well-protected information on computers. If he has a higher Smarts stat than the encrypter of a computer system, he can force that system to divulge information and perform actions as though he were an Administrator of that system.

Enhanced Training

Swearing a vendetta against any currently practicing members of Team Rocket, Pyrrhus has redoubled his efforts to make sure his Pokemon are as good as they can be. His drive and determination has begun to rub off on them Each of his Pokemon gain 1.2x the amount of experience they would normally gain.

Character Description:

Pyrrhus always had a knack for mechanical things, and he loved them almost as much as he loved his best friend Growlithe. His parents got him the Growlithe for his protection after getting beaten up after school so many times, and the puppy took his job to heart. After Biting off one bully's pants and setting another's on fire, the older kids left him alone. He would shout "Cave Canem!" or "Beware of the Dog!" in Latin as the bullies fled, and the dog eventually took that as its name.

Pyrrhus took apart his first Poke Ball just to see how it worked, and spent hours studying it and practicing his ball throwing technique. He turned it into a game of fetch, and Cave Canem was most happy to oblige. Pyrrhus grew to admire the skill of the distant Hoenn Champion Steven Stone, son of the Devon Corp. president, scientist, inventor, lady's man and all around amazing guy. It is his hope that by going on an adventure, he might find inspiration for a billion-Pokedollar idea to bring to Steven Stone and get brought on as his assistant.

He tries to emulate Steven Stone, both in personality as a kind and helpful person, and as a brilliant and clever inventor and an ally of rare and terrifying Pokemon. He also wears suits like Steven, but he has to hang them up before he goes to bed so they don't wrinkle. Although a citizen of Saffron, he heard a rumor that Steven would be at the big event in Pewter City and got on the first bus out of town, leaving his parents with only a note.

Since the injury that resulted in him losing his right arm, he has sworn a vendetta against all existing members of Team Rocket, and especially the one who attacked him. He has shown himself rather unscrupulous when it comes to gathering information regarding this man, known only as Alacran.
